WANTED!

We are looking for people from different generations who use or have used the Battlehill Woods in various ways; e.g. to go for a walk, to think, to hang out and hide away, to work, to ride the bike, to play.

We would like to invite anybody who remembers the woods from their own childhood or who has a relation to the Woods to talk about their memories, tell their stories or describe their favourite places in the Woods. Pictures, photographs and finds are very welcome as well.

The Battlehill woods is Huntly’s small oasis of
wilderness close to the town. Dudendance, Jelka Plate, Fabiana Galante will be leading an art project over the summer looking at how wilderness effects our
imagination.

We are keen to engage with people who may have
memories or associated stories about the woods or who would like to take part in the project.

Performances and related events are planned for the 4/5th and 11/12th of September.
